Hello! I’m Ioanna – a PhD student in Computer Science at Brown University. Before starting my PhD, I was a Visiting Research Scholar in Brown CS, where I worked with Ritambhara Singh and Nikos Vasilakis.
I hold a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
My research focuses on deep learning for health, with a special emphasis on multimodal learning, representation learning, and model interpretability. I also like to explore the intersection of machine learning and systems.
Beyond research, I enjoy sports, learning new languages, cooking, and reading books.
